Profile:

I love to write, read, garden, take care of my tropical fish, and be quiet. Taking tai chi, laughing at work, and treasuring friendships keep me from living in a cave. I teach many Freshman English classes, so essay writing is natural to me, but I want a space for the stories of my younger years to come back. I hope this blog will give other people and me a safe place to communicate whatever comes.
